Theme

Recent advances in mobile computing and wireless communication technology have made the emergence of a wide range of mobile multimedia applications, systems and services. Mobile multimedia communication and networking requires the interaction among different types of devices, technologies, data types, security requirements, etc. This introduces several key challenges in multimedia and networking systems and applications. To fully understand and enhance the performance of multimedia technologies, protocols and applications, there is a need to design new modeling approaches, performance evaluation test-beds and application scenarios.
