Live Webcam 1 - Bradford Skyline North
Above: The view north across the city towards Manningham, Shipley and in the distance Baildon moor. On the right can be seen the University's Richmond Building, and in the centre the IPI (Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation), Norcroft Conference Centre, and Institute for Cancer Therapeutics.
Live Webcam 2 - Great Horton Road
The view above shows the south-east skyline of Bradford and Great Horton Road next to the University. The street leading off Great Horton Road on the right is Claremont - the birthplace of composer Frederick Delius* (1862 - 1934), noted for pieces including "Brigg Fair", "Koanga", "A village Romeo & Juliet" and "On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring". The tall building in the distance is the National Media Museum. As well as bars, cash points and convenience shops on campus, there are a good selection of facilities available within a short walk. Many students choose to live in private rented houses in the surrounding streets, and there is a vast range of rented accommodation within a few minutes walk of campus, both private halls of residence and houses. Across the road you can see some of the local restaurants, cafés and shops available. Just further down Great Horton Road are some of Bradford's famous curry houses. The city centre is less than 10 minutes walk.
